Goldman's advertising campaign targets ordinary people

Goldman Sachs has launched a national advertising campaign amid public criticism of its compensation practices, profits and strategies. David Wells, a spokesman for the bank, said the campaign, which bears the tagline "Progress is Everyone's Business," will continue into 2011. "We need to provide a broader audience a better understanding of who we are and what we need to do," Wells said. "This is meant to help do that."
