Boeing receives recognition for environmental efforts

A nonprofit organization has recognized Boeing for the manufacturer's efforts to reduce carbon emissions. The Carbon Disclosure Project has included Boeing on its list of companies that demonstrate leadership in reducing emissions. "Year-over-year, we have made measurable environmental improvements through the actions of our innovative and engaged employees," said Kim Smith, vice president for environment, health and safety at Boeing.
