Deere gives over $400K worth of equipment to maintain National Mall grounds

John Deere has given more than $400,000 worth of landscaping equipment to the nonprofit Trust for the National Mall to help it maintain the grounds of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., according to these reports. The nonprofit received lawn mowers powered by alternative fuel and other maintenance equipment. These will be used to maintain the newly restored turf areas of the national park, according to the Washington Post.
