Educators at Crestwood Elementary School in Madison, Wis., have helped students with a penchant for music turn songwriting into a learning experience, complete with a CD of songs written by students. The project was spurred when a student discovered how writing a rap song could help him remember math concepts. Included on the set list is a song titled "Doublin' Up," in which students rap about addition.
