Industry fighting reductions to NextGen program

Cutting funding to the NextGen air traffic control system will cause the aviation sector's growth to "sputter and stall," warns a new report released during the Aerospace Industries Association rally for the NextGen project. Sequestration could cut the new NextGen system by as much as 50%, and flight delays, price hikes and steeper cargo costs will be the result, the AIA says.
