Joint venture plans $60M pipeline in Utica Shale

Pennant Midstream, a joint venture by NiSource and Hilcorp Energy, will spend $60 million to build a 12-inch natural gas liquids pipeline in the Utica Shale region, the firm said. The pipeline, designed to deliver about 90,000 barrels daily, will link a cryogenic processing facility in Mahoning County to another plant in Columbiana County. "The construction of new infrastructure is critical to unlocking the potential of the Utica Shale play in Ohio," Jimmy Staton, executive vice president and group CEO of Columbia Pipeline Group, said in a statement.
