NBCTs prove leadership prowess during period of change for NBPTS

As the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards prepares to undergo a period of change, National Board Certified Teachers will be the ones leading the charge, NBCT Renee Moore writes. In this blog post, Moore, who co-chairs the board's Certification Council, writes that 15 of NBPTS' 27-member Board of Directors are NBCTs. And, while in the past, some have questioned whether teachers have what it takes to lead such prestigious and effective organizations, she writes that the effort of NBPTS and others will prove they can.
