Scripps' GAC expands beyond music, becomes Great American Country

Scripps Interactive, as part of the two-year rebranding of its GAC music network, has renamed the channel Great American Country. The name change reflects the network's evolution from primarily offering country music videos to more of a music-oriented lifestyle channel, with additional family, home, food and travel content. Great American Country also will start to become available in HD, with the rollout expected to last into 2014.
