Survey: Companies are taking cybersecurity seriously

Almost all technology companies in a poll by Silicon Valley Bank said they are maintaining or increasing their cybersecurity measures, but about one-third said they trust the security of their data. About half of respondents rated the threat of cyberattacks as serious or very serious. "Companies in the tech sector, particularly software companies, are feeling exposed, and increasingly having to expend resources to manage cyber-attacks, rather than investing in the growth of their business. That's a huge impact on a growing company, and eventually the economy overall," Bob Curley of Silicon Valley Bank said in a statement.
