Tour for Diversity in Medicine seeks to inspire minorities

The national nonprofit Tour for Diversity in Medicine recently stopped at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., to give minority high-school students a close-up look at careers in medicine. Allen Landry, a physician and co-creator of the organization, said the key for many students to get into medical school is to give them guidance and assistance before they even get to college.
