Two James Spirits distillery adds to Mich.'s growing industry

Two James Spirits distillery opened this month in Detroit, making it the first one to open there since Prohibition. The distillery, which includes a tasting room and produces spirits that honor the city's past, contributes to the growing small-distillery industry and is one of more than 20 in the state, up from four in 2008. Michigan ranks fourth in the country when it comes to the number of small distilleries, according to The American Distilling Institute.
