Vertebral Technologies gets FDA OK for modular spinal implant

Vertebral Technologies has been cleared by the FDA to market its InterFuse Lateral system, designed for use in procedures to replace damaged spinal discs with bone graft implants. The modular implant system, which employs a patented rail-and-slot technology, is used to enable doctors to deliver the implant via smaller incisions and allows them to customize solutions to each patient.
