Whole Foods will implement 3-tier sustainable labeling

Whole Foods Market plans to begin a three-tier rating system in fall 2014 to label sustainable produce and floral products. The system of "good," "better" and "best" will improve transparency and celebrate responsible practices of growers, says Edmund LaMacchia, global vice president of perishables.
