Increased Testing Sparks Cheating Concerns In Iowa Schools

Testing experts in Iowa are growing concerned that pressure from standardized testing will encourage educators to manipulate exam results. Although Iowa isn't yet considered a "high-stakes" testing state, lawmakers this year approved a plan to link teachers' bonuses to improvement on the exams, and the state Department of Education now requires schools to set goals for how they will improve test scores.
