All-day kindergarten boosts scores in Maryland county

Low-income students enrolled in Montgomery County's all-day kindergarten programs significantly raised their academic achievement over a period of two years, according to a study scheduled to be released today. The General Assembly has mandated full-day kindergarten for all schools in the state.
