Malaysian PM meeting with U.S. venture capitalists draws interest

Malaysia's prime minister reports his meeting with 20 venture capitalists in New York indicates to him U.S. biotech companies have a huge interest in investment and trading opportunities in a country where there currently are no investments. They expressed an interest in modernizing the country's agriculture, he said, and he wants Malaysia to use biotechnology and other high-tech skills to develop the agriculture sector as part of an effort to improve the nation's economy.
