Frito-Lay reinvents snacks with health in mind

Frito-Lay has started using unsaturated fat in its chips and in its new Flat Earth line of baked fruit and vegetable crisps in response to consumers' growing interest in adopting healthy diets. The company shifted to sunflower oil last year and is working on snacks with whole grains, colon-healthy fiber and lycopene.
