Report: More advanced EMR systems carry more benefits

Implementing the highest quality EMR systems will provide significantly more benefits than simply implementing EMRs alone, according to a study. The report states that stage four EMR systems will have improved decision support sophistication, increased knowledge of how to use the systems and broad adoption of commercial EMR systems and will lead to reduced costs and more time savings.
