South Carolina aims to become single-sex classroom leader

In designating the country's first statewide coordinator of single-gender education, South Carolina leaders hope to make the state a leader in such programs. David Chadwell, the educator named to the post, hopes that within five years every student will have the option of taking single-gender classes.
