Mass. gains Medicaid waiver extension to continue health plan

CMS has approved a three-year continuation of a Medicaid waiver that will allow Massachusetts' universal health care program to continue operating. The deal will mean Massachusetts can spend up to $21.2 billion over the next three years, an increase of $4.3 billion from the initial three-year period.
