More U.S. seniors get colorectal cancer screenings

A 2001 CMS decision allowing Medicare reimbursement for colonoscopies has helped to drive an increase in the number of older Americans who get colon cancer screenings, from 39.5% in 2000 to 47.1% in 2005, a CDC study found.
