Study finds link between hepatitis B, pancreatic cancer

Hepatitis B may increase the risk of pancreatic cancer, according to researchers at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Their study found pancreatic cancer patients were twice as likely to have hepatitis B as those who were cancer-free. But they say while the evidence shows an association between the two it is not enough to prove cause and effect.
