Wal-Mart slashes toy prices to prep for holidays

Wal-Mart is slashing toy prices and will open its Christmas shops earlier than planned. The company said it will sell 10 toys for $10 each. "Given current conditions, some [shoppers] need to spread out their Christmas shopping over a longer time frame than they may have last year," said a Wal-Mart spokeswoman.
