Exco to gain $540M from planned sale of properties in Oklahoma

Exco Resources is set to sell its oil and gas properties in Oklahoma to Sheridan Holding Company for $540 million, ending its program to auction off noncore assets. The properties contained estimated proved reserves of 4.8 million barrels of oil and 223.7 billion cubic feet of natural gas at the end of 2008, the company said.
