Rules of decorum for social-networking engagement have yet to be written, and that ambiguity creates work-life balance dilemmas, this article suggests. "What if your boss friends you on Facebook," said Wharton management professor Nancy Rothbard. "How do you not accept that friend?" Being connected all the time can also blur the lines between work and personal hours. Standards will develop over time, but until then, experts say users should be cautious about what they share online.
