PepsiCo to ramp up ad spending

PepsiCo Chairman-CEO Indra Nooyi said the company plans to increase its ad budget in 2010, and is preparing a "transformation" of the Gatorade brand, with new formulations and products. Nooyi didn't offer specifics on ad spending, but did say, "We have gone almost a third to the digital world, which is profound because five years ago it was not there."
