Mutual fund helped spark the "flash crash," sources say

Regulators have concluded that Waddell & Reed Financial's routine sale of E-mini futures helped trigger a chain of events that resulted in the May 6 "flash crash," sources said. The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission are preparing to release their report on the market plunge.
