Northrop, Bell develop unmanned helicopter

Engineers tested the Fire-X, an unmanned helicopter developed by Northrop Grumman with Bell Helicopter, by turning on the power recently. A pilot will test fly the Fire-X before the helicopter performs unpiloted flights. The Fire-X, a medium-range unmanned aerial vehicle, can also carry cargo in the helicopter or underneath the aircraft.
