Biotech won't help drive employment growth in future

Biotech offers well-paying jobs, but it's not going to be a driver of employment growth in the future, according to Luke Timmerman of Xconomy. The industry is under pressure to show better return on investment, and companies are cutting budgets. He says that among the jobs being advertised by the 24 leading biotech companies, just 357 of them are early-stage or research jobs that will be critical to the future of the industry.
