Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, Washoe County Schools Superintendent Pedro Martinez and community volunteers went door to door over the weekend to encourage high-school seniors to focus on graduation. Of the district's 4,300 high-school seniors, only 2,500 are on track to graduate -- but 1,000 more could be ready with some additional support, officials said. "That's one of the things I want to tell them today, that we believe in them," Sandoval said.
