Annual growth of 1.7% predicted for drinks containers

Demand for beverage containers could increase 1.7% each year in the U.S., reaching 265 billion units by 2017, predicts the Freedonia Group. Plastic containers will grow fastest and remain the largest group, said the report, while metal containers, the second most popular choice, will grow at a slower rate.
