Demand for beverage containers could increase 1.7% each year in the U.S., reaching 265 billion units by 2017, predicts the Freedonia Group. Glass container demand is expected to grow at an annual rate of 0.7%, driven by the growing popularity of wine and ready-to-drink tea beverages.
