AOL will return to TV ads to tout its Gathr bundles

AOL is coming back to TV in a multimedia campaign focused on the Seattle, Minneapolis and Atlanta markets to promote the public launch of its Gathr service. Gathr bundles services from other companies including Amazon, LivingSocial and Pandora in themed packages that range from $15 to $30 per month. The packages build on AOL's experience in subscription and bundled Internet access, which generated $332 million in revenue in the first half of 2013 for AOL.
