Aviation industry is making progress in search for 100LL

For a long time, the aviation community has advocated for keeping 100LL, but in recent years, the industry has made progress with the search to find a replacement. Some groups are working on different fuel mixes, while others are looking at biofuels. Michael Kraft of Lycoming, who has been long working toward a 100LL alternative, says that the switch to unleaded gasoline will benefit pilots.
