BP's indecision affected Gulf spill response, Transocean worker says

BP's indecision slowed down response to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill, said Transocean engineer Robert Turlak, who was part of the well-capping operations. "We were so close, we'd come a long way ... We had the equipment ready," Turlak said. BP dismissed the claims, saying it acted carefully to assess and mitigate risks tied with sealing the well.
