Clients ask advisors how to respond to annuity changes

More clients are going to financial advisors for help in figuring out how to deal with changes proposed by the issuers of variable annuities, writes Maria Wood. The challenge for the advisor is analyzing the potentially restructured annuity and determining whether it still makes sense for the client, says Robert Pettman, a senior vice president at LPL Financial.
