Curriculum to bring gay, lesbian history to Los Angeles high schools

Lesson plans about the roles of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans in California and U.S. history are a step closer to making their way into Los Angeles Unified School District high schools by early 2014. ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives at the University of Southern California has teamed with Project SPIN and the district to create the history curriculum covering 1940 to present.
