Libraries tapped in Ohio district to help students with homework

Columbus City Schools in Ohio are working with public libraries to provide after-school homework help for students. To better help the students, staff and volunteers in the library's centers are learning about the state's math and reading standards and literacy requirements, in which students can be held back in third grade if they do not meet proficiency standards starting this year.
