Online resource helps patients with cancer evaluate insurance plans

The Patient Advocate Foundation, the National Patient Advocate Foundation and an alliance of 18 cancer and patient advocacy groups unveiled an online resource to help patients with cancer select the insurance plan that will best suit their budgets and meet their health care needs. The Cancer Insurance Checklist shows patients how to carefully evaluate details of insurance plans, such as coverage of services, copayments and deductibles.
