Several deteriorating dams in Mich. considered extremely hazardous

Michigan's aged and deteriorating dams are becoming a cause of concern, with many "approaching or past 50 years old," according to the Detroit Free Press. The American Society of Civil Engineers gave the state's dams a D grade, saying that 90% of them will "reach or exceed their design life by 2020." Eighty-eight of the state's dams are considered "potential high-hazard."
