Study: Oral estradiol poses lower thrombosis risk

Postmenopausal women who took oral conjugated equine estrogens experienced a higher risk of venous thrombosis than those who took oral estradiol, according to an analysis of data from the Heart and Vascular Health Study conducted by the University of Washington in Seattle. The study was published online in JAMA Internal Medicine.
