The Environmental Protection Agency is taking three steps to address the regulation of hazardous waste, write Ted Wolff and Matthew Dombroski. EPA is expected next year to propose a rule for pharmaceuticals designated as hazardous waste and consider rule changes to regulations governing generators of hazardous waste, they write.
