Boeing, Bell Helicopter apologize for V-22 Osprey ad

Bell Helicopter and Boeing have apologized for an advertisement in which troops inside a V-22 Osprey assault a mosque. Bell and Boeing make the aircraft. They apologized for the ad after the Council on American-Islamic Relations sent a protest. A Bell spokesman said the ad, which was developed by the company's advertising agency, should have been pulled a month ago. It ran in the National Journal, a political-affairs publication.
