Children's hospitals to test virtual schooling

Three children's hospitals in New Jersey, New York and Tennessee will test online instruction from the national nonprofit Virtual High School this year for their young patients in long-term care. A coordinator from Hackensack University Medical Center, one of the participating hospitals, says the program will help bring high-quality math and science tutors to older students and ease the isolation of in-home instruction.
