Food allergy awareness causes anxiety in some children

Some children with food allergies become highly anxious, to the point of experiencing panic attacks and requiring medication, when dealing with a food allergy that could be potentially life-threatening. Experts offer advice to parents such as educating their children's friends, showing their children how to administer an emergency epinephrine shot and other techniques to help relieve anxieties.
