Investors' choice of ETFs, alternatives hits stock funds

As investors are increasingly putting their money in alternative investments and ETFs, stock funds are being depleted. Some say the trend could continue to affect the markets for a number of years. According to fund tracker Lipper, average net flows into U.S. stock funds currently are around $0 per month, meaning investors are putting as much money into the funds as they are taking out.
