Groups say county deprived students of special services

Six Florida students with mental and emotional disabilities were forced out of school instead of receiving necessary counseling and other services, according to a class-action complaint filed with the Florida Department of Education. The students were repeatedly disciplined, suspended, referred to the court and illegally removed from school, says the complaint filed by three civil rights groups.
