Texans form Coalition for Ethical Imaging

A group of radiologists and other medical professionals as well as businessmen and concerned residents in Texas have established the Coalition for Ethical Imaging to promote safe, reliable and cost-effective diagnostic imaging services, including CT, MRI and PET, in the state. The coalition is planning to lobby for the introduction of legislation that would address such issues as the overutilization of diagnostic imaging services and accreditation of advanced imaging facilities.
