Replacing complex Portland bridge to cost $330M

The cost of replacing the Sellwood Bridge in Portland, Ore., climbed to $330 million because of a complex intersection. Digging up the intersection will cost one-third of the budget for the bridge, largely due to the need to blast, dig and reroute elements of a crowded, steep hillside.
