Secondary use of EMRs will improve quality, reduce costs

Survey results released by PricewaterhouseCoopers showed better quality, cost savings and the ability to predict trends are benefits of the secondary use of electronic medical records. About 65% of organizations surveyed said they expect their secondary use of data to increase in the next two years.
